Explore Art making through portraiture: A 4 week workshop
Location: CAF MAKER ROOM
Time: Wednesdays 4:30-6 pm
Instructor: Shruti (She/Her/Hers)
Participants ( 6 yrs and up) will create 4 different kinds of portraits in each session using a variety of techniques, art materials and tools throughout this 4 session workshop.At the end of each session, participants will have a unique work of art to take home -ready for display!

Session 1: Mixed Media Self-Portraits
Session 2: Pet/Favourite stuffed toy Portrait: mosaic tiles
Session 3: Still Life Portrait- Create your own still life to draw from!
Session 4: 3-D Portraits with styrofoam heads!
About the Instructor:
My name is Shruti chaudhary. I am married and a proud mother of a son.I moved to Canada seven years ago and have been living in Guelph for past nine months,where I have discovered a vibrant community of Art enthusiasts. With over five years of teaching Arts and crafts in India, I've continued to pursue my passion here by customizing paintings and portraits for clients and conducting Art classes in my personal studio.
I enjoy travelling, shopping with friends and especially love decorating homes with DIY decor. I am now excited and looking forward to conduct Art workshops at Children's Art Factory ,sharing my love for creativity with young artists.

DRESS FOR MESS
Wear clothing to get messy in! Socks are required for everyone attending, including adults.

DROP-OFF/PICK-UP
You will receive a phone call from our program facilitators, prior to the start of each camp/session/workshop for further details regarding pick-up and drop-off locations. For safety, please wait outside for drop-off and pick-up. A CAF educator will greet you at the appropriate entrance door at the beginning of the program and have participants ready for pick- up at the end of the program.

CAMP CANCELLATIONS
Less than 2 weeks notice
No refund or credit is issued. This includes unexpected illness or weather or other.
More than 2 weeks notice
A refund minus a $50 admin fee for weekly camps and a $25 admin fee for PA day and day camps will be issued.

MISSED SESSIONS
Our camps, programs and workshops have limited capacity. For this reason, we do not provide refunds or make-up sessions for any missed days or classes.

STATUTORY HOLIDAYS
Programs will not be held on statutory holidays. If the dates you select include a holiday you would be reimbursed for the cost of one class.

No refund or credit is issued. This includes unexpected illness or weather or other.
Cancellation due to severe weather/ low enrolment or other circumstances beyond our control.
A full refund will be issued.
