A note about our policies: CAF staff enforce policies in the studio to ensure safety and to sustain and maintain our unique space. When visiting our studio, we ask for your consideration by respecting our policies, which are explained upon arrival and in detail, below:
- Children's Art Factory is a drop-in art studio - reservations or pre-booking are not available. Drop-in visits are first come, first served. Entry is not guaranteed. A bit of pre-planning can help prevent disappointment. Please read our tips to help you plan your drop in visit. If we reach capacity and you are turned away, we do keep and maintain a waitlist at the front entrance and will contact you if space opens up within each session. FYI: Visitors are welcome to stay and play for as long as they wish within each session, so being on the waitlist is not a guarantee for entry.
- Socks are required in our studio by all children and adults visiting. Please Note: Our floors can be slippery due to the moonsand used in our sock monkey kitchen. Grip socks are highly recommended. Adult and child grip socks are available for purchase at the front desk.
- Food may not be consumed anywhere in the main studio or the front entrance. There is no snack area. Drinks are welcome but must be kept and consumed in our front entrance area only. Please come prepared by eating before you arrive or after your play! A where-to-eat guide is free for the taking in the front entrance.
- Materials and tools from one station may not travel to another station. Our studio is not a free for all. Tools and materials from one station may damage tools and materials in another station. CAF staff maintain watch during each session and will remind visitors, if this rule is not being followed.
Membership Card Policies

4 entries max per card.
No more than 4 entries (adults and children, walking and up, are included) per card/per visit. No exceptions.

Treat this card as cash.
If you forget your card you would have to pay the drop-fee. We have no way of tracking this card. If lost, we are unable to issue a replacement.

Blue and Red cards cannot be used on Saturday or Sunday.
The Gold card is the only card that can be used any day of the week.
Party cancellation policies

Less than 12 hours notice
No refund or credit is issued. This includes unexpected illness or weather or other.

Less than 10 days
A credit minus $100 deposit will be issued. There is $50 fee to reschedule a cancelled party. The $100 deposit would not count toward this fee.

More than 10 days
A full refund minus $100 deposit will be issued. Alternatively, you may choose to receive a credit- minus $50 so that you can reschedule the party at your convenience.
Workshop and Program Cancellation Policies

Less than 24 hours notice
No refund or credit is issued. This includes unexpected illness or weather or other.

Missed class or no shows
Refunds are not issued for missed classes or no shows. We do not provide make-up classes for a missed class or workshop due to illness, weather or other.

Cancellation of workshop or program due to severe weather/ low enrolment or other circumstances beyond our control.
A full refund will be issued.
CAMP Cancellation Policies

More than 2 weeks notice
A refund minus a $50 admin fee for weekly camps and a $25 admin fee for day camps will be issued.

No refund or credit is issued. This includes unexpected illness or weather or other.

Missed days or no shows
Refunds are not issued for missed days or no shows. We do not provide any alternatives for a missed day of camp due to illness, weather or other.
