This event option is available when our studio is closed to the public.

Space Rentals include up to 50 people (children and adults). We require a minimum of 1 adult per 10 children for supervision. It is the responsibility of the hosts to supervise the children, not Children's Art Factory staff.

No food is permitted in the building during a Space Rental. You will not have access to the party room. Loot bags (creative invention kits) and crowns are not included.

The price and capacity policies are non-negotiable.

  • DRESS FOR MESS

    A change of clothes is suggested. Remember socks are required for everyone attending, including adults. Masks are encouraged but not required for all adults in our main studio.

    STUDIO ACCESS

    During your party/rental time, children will have free choice to play where they wish inside the Imagination Area (maker tables, stage and sand pit) and Sensory Area (sock monkey kitchen, painting easels, office, dry sensory).

    Please note: due to the additional cleaning and sanitizing required, the Sock Monkey Kitchen will be closed 30 minutes prior to the end of your party. The Imagination Area will remain open for the duration of your party/rental.

    PARTY ROOM ACCESS

    During the party children will play in our main studio for the first hour. The second hour is to enjoy BYO food, cake and presents in the party room. If finished early, children are welcome to continue their play in the main studio as long as they are supervised. Food and beverages must be consumed in the party room only. Food and drinks are not permitted in the main studio. Party room access is not included with space rentals.

  • LOOT BAGS & CROWNS

    Each child (including the birthday child) will receive a loot bag (we call them creative invention kits) filled with open-ended art supplies: styrofoam, glue, modelling clay, crayons, stickers, pipe cleaners and more. Decorate-Your-Own colourful and adjustable paper crowns are also included for each child. Loot bags and crowns are not included with space rentals.

    PARTY CAPACITY & SUPERVISION

    Morning and afternoon parties include a maximum of 10 children and 11 adults. Evening parties include a maximum of 12 children and 13 adults. The price and capacity policies for parties are non-negotiable. If you have a larger group, consider a space rental (max. 50 people). It is the responsibility of the hosts to supervise children, not Children's Art Factory staff.

    REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

    Payment in full is required at the time of booking, $100 is non refundable. In the event of a cancellation, a partial refund would be provided (price of party/rental minus the non-refundable $100). 

    If you would rather postpone the party/rental to a later date, a credit instead of a full refund would be issued, and the party/rental could be rebooked at another time. There is a $50 rescheduling fee for postponing a party/rental.
