Sunday Workshop Facilitator

We would love to help you share your creativity!

Our studio offers drop-off workshops for older children (age 6 years and up) and Parent and child workshops (age 4 years and up); However, we are open to exploring different options- a parent and baby workshop could be fun!

These Artist-led Workshops will occur on Sunday afternoons with occasional Saturday afternoons -an earliest start time at 1 pm and latest end time at 4 pm but could run for an hour or an hour and half, depending on the idea and audience. The cost, number of participants and time needed for the workshop can vary.

Workshops typically take place in our Maker Room but depending on the idea and the season we also have messy - friendly spaces that could be used instead.

We are seeking authentic ideas.  The best facilitators are inspired individuals who have a passion for the subject. Ideas for workshops are endless and could include skill-sharing or centred around a theme you think children would enjoy- fairy doors, dollhouse building etc.

The maker room in our studio is stocked full of supplies like fabric, paint, modelling clay and lots of other traditional and non- traditional crafting and art materials. We also have sewing machines, hand-powered woodworking tools and small printmaking press,  table top easels, easels for painting en-plein-air, glue guns, cardboard cutters, sewing mannequins, wood and tons of recyclable materials such as old toys and other weird and wonderful stuffs folks have donated for this purpose. We provide you with the materials and space- you bring the fun!
