A parent-and-child art exploration program that combines open-ended creative invitations with opportunities to explore the studio, outdoor mud kitchen (weather permitting), and sensory spaces. A Studio Passport will encourage children to discover different areas of the studio each week.
Each four-week session follows the changing season through thoughtfully prepared creative invitations. The media may change weekly to provide new experiences while maintaining a familiar rhythm.
Example Weekly Invitations
- Week 1 – Painting & Drawing
- Week 2 – Clay & Sculpture
- Week 3 – Sensory Atelier (water, loose parts, tactile exploration)
- Week 4 – Nature & Fibre Arts (weaving, collage, natural materials)
Seasonal themes (e.g. Harvest, Apples, Autumn Forest, etc.) will be woven throughout the stories, songs, sensory experiences, and creative invitations.
