Enchantments from the wood with little red riding hood

Workshop facilitator: Liana De Francesco (She/Her)

A nature workshop filled with the magic and wonder of the natural world.  Participants will enjoy stories and songs, sensory exploration and  imaginary play with natural materials. Young participants will step into the story with a red cape (to wear and take home) as well as a basket to fill with all the nature treasures they discover in the workshop, and for any future foraging in the wood.

Registered participants are invited to play in the studio prior to the workshop, at no additional cost.

 About the facilitator: 

Liana is a natural craftsperson with a love for seasonal creativity and nature-based materials. With a background in environmental studies and forest conservation, she brings an appreciation for the rhythms of the natural world and the changing seasons into her creative process. She especially enjoys nature crafting, seasonal projects, crocheting, and exploring the many ways people can connect with the outdoors through handmade creations inspired by its everyday wonders.

Liana holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies from York University and a Master’s Degree in Forest Conservation from Toronto Metropolitan University.
