Workshop Facilitator: Shruti Chaudhury (She/Her/Hers)


Build and decorate a gingerbread house on a large solid base. An assortment of candy, fondant and more will be available to take your house and its environs beyond the store bought aesthetic. Festive lights and Christmas music will add to the charm of this annual workshop.

About the Facilitator: 
My name is Shruti Chaudhary. I am married and a proud mother of a son. I moved to Canada seven years ago and have been living in Guelph for past nine months, where I have discovered a vibrant community of Art enthusiasts. With over five years of teaching arts and crafts in India, I've continued to pursue my passion here by customizing paintings and portraits for clients and conducting Art classes in my personal studio.

Things to Know About Art workshops, programs and camps.

  • DRESS FOR MESS

    Wear clothing to get messy in! Socks are required for everyone attending, including adults.

    DROP-OFF/PICK-UP

    You will receive a phone call from our program facilitators, prior to the start of each camp/session/workshop for further details regarding pick-up and drop-off locations. For safety, please wait outside for drop-off and pick-up. A CAF educator will greet you at the appropriate entrance door at the beginning of the program and have participants ready for pick- up at the end of the program.

    CAMP CANCELLATIONS

    Less than 2 weeks notice

    No refund or credit is issued. This includes unexpected illness or weather or other.

    More than 2 weeks notice

    A refund minus a $50 admin fee for weekly camps and a $25 admin fee for PA day and day camps will be issued.

  • MISSED SESSIONS

    Our camps, programs and workshops have limited capacity. For this reason, we do not provide refunds or make-up sessions for any missed days or classes.

    STATUTORY HOLIDAYS

    Programs will not be held on statutory holidays. If the dates you select include a holiday you would be reimbursed for the cost of one class.

    No refund or credit is issued. This includes unexpected illness or weather or other.

    Cancellation due to severe weather/ low enrolment or other circumstances beyond our control.

    A full refund will be issued.
