Home base: Play Lab space

A variety of rich, unexpected and open-ended art materials will be explored.  Daily Invitations  include potions, play dough bakery, mix & mess kitchen and colour mixing.

The focus of this program is on the process of art vs the product of art. Take-home projects will be limited.

Lots of time is spent in our mud kitchen and potion and play lab spaces, where campers have opportunities for messy play with water, sand and more!

Walking field trips to some  wonderful amenities in downtown Guelph (such as Wolfond Park, City Hall Splash pad, downtown concerts and library) and daily playtime in the studio are highlights. 
All our campers will join together at times for some epic arty experiences in the green space, across from the library...picnicking, making music and lots of hands-on creating.

9:00am- 4:00pm

$375+hst per week 

$300 +hst for July 2-5 and Aug 6-9 (a reimbursement will be issued)

Small group - the same 10 children all week

Things to Know About Art workshops, programs and camps.

  • DRESS FOR MESS

    Wear clothing to get messy in! Socks are required for everyone attending, including adults.

    DROP-OFF/PICK-UP

    You will receive a phone call from our program facilitators, prior to the start of each camp/session/workshop for further details regarding pick-up and drop-off locations. For safety, please wait outside for drop-off and pick-up. A CAF educator will greet you at the appropriate entrance door at the beginning of the program and have participants ready for pick- up at the end of the program.

    CAMP CANCELLATIONS

    Less than 2 weeks notice

    No refund or credit is issued. This includes unexpected illness or weather or other.

    More than 2 weeks notice

    A refund minus a $50 admin fee for weekly camps and a $25 admin fee for PA day and day camps will be issued.

  • MISSED SESSIONS

    Our camps, programs and workshops have limited capacity. For this reason, we do not provide refunds or make-up sessions for any missed days or classes.

    STATUTORY HOLIDAYS

    Programs will not be held on statutory holidays. If the dates you select include a holiday you would be reimbursed for the cost of one class.

    Less than 24 hours notice

    No refund or credit is issued. This includes unexpected illness or weather or other.

    Cancellation due to severe weather/ low enrolment or other circumstances beyond our control.

    A full refund will be issued.
