Single session sensory programs for ages 4-6 years with a caregiver on Sundays from 2-3:30 p.m.

Play Lab aims to foster independence and confidence while inspiring and challenging young participants with a variety of rich, sensory experiences and materials. Play lab is about experimenting, freedom and plenty of authentic mess-making in a relaxed, encouraging environment. A perfect introduction to the art factory or wonderful art enrichment for a young art factory fan. Outside water play in our enclosed back courtyard is a summer favourite!
Sunday July 6th-Glow Party!
Explore the sensory properties of glow paints, glow makers, oobleck and more in this glow-in-the-dark one-off workshop. Access to back courtyard included during programming (weather permitting).
Sunday July 20th - Magic Potions!
Explore Art and Science with open-ended potion play; an incredibly engaging sensory experience-that sparks joy and helps children tap in to their imagination by inventing original magic recipes. Explore science by experimenting with ingredients and witnessing chemical reactions with baking soda and vinegar-who doesn't love creating a bubbling potion?
Sunday August 10th- Smash it Painting!
Accidental mark making using wooden mallets. rubber hammers, and mortar and pestals to pound and mix a variety of sensory and natural materials. Participants will be able to work on a large scale, using their full body and all their senses. Open-ended colour mixing and ooey gooey paint exploration will encouraged and explored in this playful- engaging program.
Sunday August 17th - Pay dough Creations!
Using a variety of natural materials such as sand, seashells, and flowers, transform raw playdough into imaginative baking projects and big sensory fun. Tools and loose parts ingredients will be provided. Access to the back courtyard included during programming (weather permitting).
ur program room will be set-up as a bakery to encourage pretend play using play dough and a variety of other materials for messy baking...
Sunday August 24th - Glow-in-the dark!
Explore glow sand, glow paints, slime and other luminescent sensory materials in this drop-off glow-in-the-dark Play Lab session. Back courtyard included (weather permitting).

Wear clothing to get messy in! Socks are required for everyone attending, including adults.

DROP-OFF/PICK-UP
You will receive a phone call from our program facilitators, prior to the start of each camp/session/workshop for further details regarding pick-up and drop-off locations. For safety, please wait outside for drop-off and pick-up. A CAF educator will greet you at the appropriate entrance door at the beginning of the program and have participants ready for pick- up at the end of the program.

CAMP CANCELLATIONS
Less than 2 weeks notice
No refund or credit is issued. This includes unexpected illness or weather or other.
More than 2 weeks notice
A refund minus a $50 admin fee for weekly camps and a $25 admin fee for PA day and day camps will be issued.

MISSED SESSIONS
Our camps, programs and workshops have limited capacity. For this reason, we do not provide refunds or make-up sessions for any missed days or classes.

STATUTORY HOLIDAYS
Programs will not be held on statutory holidays. If the dates you select include a holiday you would be reimbursed for the cost of one class.
