Program Facilitator: Liana De Francesco (She/Her)
A parent and child program that celebrates the seasons through art, nature, storytelling, and sensory play. Each session will invite participants to slow down, explore natural materials, and create together in a warm, welcoming studio environment.
Programming will be inspired by the rhythms of each season with sessions that could include nature-inspired process art, a seasonal craft, sensory experience with simple handwork, stories, songs, and open-ended invitations to create. Each child will explore alongside their grown up, building meaningful memories and connecting together with the natural world.

Participants are invited to play in the studio before the start of each session at no additional cost.

About the facilitator: 

Liana is a natural craftsperson with a love for seasonal creativity and nature-based materials. With a background in environmental studies and forest conservation, she brings an appreciation for the rhythms of the natural world and the changing seasons into her creative process. She especially enjoys nature crafting, seasonal projects, crocheting, and exploring the many ways people can connect with the outdoors through handmade creations inspired by its everyday wonders.

Liana holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies from York University and a Master’s Degree in Forest Conservation from Toronto Metropolitan University.
