Kindness Tree

Location: CAF MAKER SPACE

For children age 4 years and up with their Grown-up

Workshop Facilitator: Shruti Chaudhury (She/Her/Hers)

The Kindness Tree holds the hearts of kindness that are witnessed when an act of kindness is done by others. You see someone being kind – they get a heart on the tree.

Participants will decorate a pot filled with branches set into a plaster base for stability.  Paint, collage and more can be used to decorate. Wooden hearts and other materials will be available to create your kindness hearts that than can be added to the tree when an act of kindness is witnessed. A wonderful centrepiece to have in your home for Valentine’s Day and beyond!

About the Facilitator:  

Shruti Chaudhary holds an MFA degree in Painting from Delhi College of Arts in India. Married and a proud mother of a son, Shruti moved with her family to Canada 7 years ago.  Shruti loves Guelph’s vibrant community of Art enthusiasts and brings over 5 years of teaching art experience in India to CAF. Shruti continues to pursue her passion through painting and portrait work, while also conducting Art classes in her home studio.
