Single session exploratory sensory program for toddlers and preschoolers 18 months-3 yrs with their grown up.

Early childhood educators: Christina Pinarello (She/Her/Hers) 

Inspired by rule-bending artist, Frida Kahlo, this program aims to bring her vitality and curiosity to the fore through guided weekly themes that celebrate childhood wonder in non-traditional ways using process and experimentation, with lots of opportunities for mess making and play in a gentle and encouraging environment. Dress for mess !  A change of clothes is suggested. 

About the educators:

Christina obtained her Early Childhood Educator diploma in her native Germany. It was there where she developed a deep understanding of play-based and child-led-learning. Fun, organised and full of ideas, Christina is driven to create a caring, fun learning environment that fortifies the child honouring benefits of open-ended play. FUN FACT: Baby Basquiats and Frida's Friends are amongst our most popular and beloved programs, created and developed by Christina in 2020.

  • DRESS FOR MESS

    We suggest bringing a change of clothing for both you and your child. For Baby Basquiats, consider bringing a towel or blanket as well.

    LOCATION INSTRUCTIONS

    This program takes place in our backroom. Please enter through the door at the back of the building (through the fenced area). There is space to park strollers.

  • MISSED SESSIONS

    Our pre-registered programs have limited capacity. For this reason, we do not provide refunds or make-up sessions for any missed classes.

    STATUTORY HOLIDAYS

    Programs will not be held on statutory holidays. If the program you select includes a holiday, you will be reimbursed for the cost of one session.
