Drop-off workshop for age 6+ - Sunday December 1st from 2-4 pm 
location: CAF maker space
Workshop Facilitator: Kristie Boivin (She/Her/Hers)

 Each participant will build a handcrafted snow globe using thick tree branches as bases and bakeable clay to create a magical snowy landscape inside their globe. This will be followed by a buffet of festive materials to create their own ornaments for loved ones or to hang on their Christmas tree.

All items made will have the option to be gift wrapped for easy gift giving.

 About the facilitator:

Kristie is an educator and artist born and raised in Guelph. She has worked with various camps as an instructor and guest artist as well as a Teaching assistant in early childcare settings for over 11 years. Kristie's approach is a "take chances, make mistakes, get messy" philosophy, which helped to spearhead  some of our most popular workshops such as Nailed it, Squishy making, and Art in the dark.

Things to Know About Art workshops, programs and camps.

  • DRESS FOR MESS

    Wear clothing to get messy in! Socks are required for everyone attending, including adults.

    DROP-OFF/PICK-UP

    You will receive a phone call from our program facilitators, prior to the start of each camp/session/workshop for further details regarding pick-up and drop-off locations. For safety, please wait outside for drop-off and pick-up. A CAF educator will greet you at the appropriate entrance door at the beginning of the program and have participants ready for pick- up at the end of the program.

    CAMP CANCELLATIONS

    Less than 2 weeks notice

    No refund or credit is issued. This includes unexpected illness or weather or other.

    More than 2 weeks notice

    A refund minus a $50 admin fee for weekly camps and a $25 admin fee for PA day and day camps will be issued.

  • MISSED SESSIONS

    Our camps, programs and workshops have limited capacity. For this reason, we do not provide refunds or make-up sessions for any missed days or classes.

    STATUTORY HOLIDAYS

    Programs will not be held on statutory holidays. If the dates you select include a holiday you would be reimbursed for the cost of one class.

    No refund or credit is issued. This includes unexpected illness or weather or other.

    Cancellation due to severe weather/ low enrolment or other circumstances beyond our control.

    A full refund will be issued.
